StarfireDesigns was first opened in June of 2007 as a hobby, creating jewelry for family and friends. Word spread and I decided to create a site to showcase the different designs I could create so others outside of family and friends could enjoy these creations for themselves. I say I since it's still just me, Danielle, making jewelry and accessories. My dream for this site is to expand into other areas besides jewelry and accessories and to add on to the artists whose designs would be displayed here. My jewelry hobby got started when a coworker from a previous job made a necklace for me. I was so inspired by her creation that I had to make matching earrings. Ever since then I've been playing around with simple designs and looking to create things a little more complex. I find inspiration from everyday life, designs I see in art, and other jewelry that I've seen. I strive to create unique pieces that women will love to wear.
